[Trailer] Son Of God

So i was up this and scouring the web for some movie news and trailers and came across this trailer on Youtube for a movie titled the Son Of God.

Their Empire. His Kingdom. Nice tagline

THE BRAINS: This reboot about the story of Jesus is directed  by Christopher Spencer, with Richard Bedser, Colin Swash & Nic Young alongside Spencer are responsible for writing the movie. The movie casts Roma Downey as Mother Mary, Diogo Morgado as Jesus, and Darwin Shaw as Peter. Check out the trailer below.

THE ANALYSIS: Nice trailer. I like the introduction. Like the fact that some special effects has been added as can be seen in other parts of the trailer. It’s really nice to see a movie about the most popular & the greatest man that ever lived back again on the big screen nearly 10 years later after Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ. I do hope the movie can touch lives and reach people’s hearts the way Passion of the Christ did. My only misgivings from viewing the trailer is it seems they might have gone a bit too creative with the story but I reserve my judgments till I see the movie.

Son of God is slated for release in theaters on 28th February, 2014.

What do you think about the trailer? Let me know in your comments.
