THE THREE MUSKETEERS

What can i say? Good evening gents and ladies… Sadly i must admit am just seeing this movie all the same i felt i should give it my 2cents.

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and featuring Matthew Macfadyen as Athos, Milla Jovovich as Milady de Winter, Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson dude) as D’Artagnan, Orlando Bloom as Duke of Buckingham, Luke Evans (Zeus guy in Immortals) as Aramis, Ray Stevenson as Porthos, the story line is almost the same with the 3 musketeers being disgraced and later D’Artagnan revives their fate. Though i must say the script writers were quite innovative.

The movie begins with a rather too successful mission by the 3 musketeers only for them to be betrayed by Milady de Winter and embarrassed by the Duke of Buckingham. Enter young hot headed D’Artagnan who comes to Paris to join the 3 musketeers who then in the process makes friends with one of the queen’s maid servant who later requests the help of D’Artagnan and the other 3 musketeers to help save the life of the queen and prevent war from coming upon thekingdom of France which was being orchestrated by the cardinal of France who wants the throne from the young king and the Duke of Buckingham who is bent on conquering France.

V’z Rating: 8.5/10 🙂

Cinema Worthiness: Really a must watch in the cinemas and a worthy keep in your laptops. Grab that popcorn while at it. 😉
