It was another fine Wednesday and the cloud was darkening as i closed from work heading to Genesis Deluxe Cinemas at GRA Port Harcourt to meet my friend who i was going to see the movie THINK LIKE A MAN with.
Released on April 20, this year, Think Like A Man, is directed by Tim Story with writing credits going to Keith Merryman, David A. Newman and Steve Harvey from whose book the movie got its title and its centered around, “Act Like A Woman, Think Like A Man”. The movie casts include Michael Ealy as Dominic, Jerry Ferrara as Jeremy, Meagan Good as Mya, Regina Hall as Candace, Kevin Hart as Cedric, Taraji P. Henson as Lauren, Terrence Jenkins as Michael, Jenifer Lewis as Loretta, Romany Malco as Zeke, Gary Owen as Bennett, Gabrielle Union as Kristen, La La Anthony as Sonia, and Chris Brown as Alex.
The plot of the movie centres around four women have given up on getting their men to do what they want until they find a how to book written by Steve Harvey. They start using his advice about relationships, and their men start falling in line, until the men discover what the women have been doing and that Steve Harvey has been snitching on them, then the war is on and as the tagline of the movie says, “Let The Mind Games Begin”.
The movie is hilariously funny and does well with a budget of $12 million in its genre of being a romantic comedy. Michael Ealy gives a wonderful performance in the movie and i would say the same for Romany Malco and the music was well placed and utilized especially John Legend’s Tonight(Best You Ever Had). 🙂
Please somebody tell Meagan Good and Gabrielle Union that yours truly finds them very hot *whew* and won’t mind going on a date with them. 😀
Isn’t She just Hot? *Sighs*
Cinema Worthiness: If you haven’t seen it already, what are you waiting for? 😮
Cedric: What do you call the three rings of marriage? Engagement ring, wedding ring and suffering.
Mya: I don’t go out with guys who don’t open the door for me.
(zooms off in his car)
Mya: Yes. No he didn’t…
