The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2

I have not read the book nor do i have the intention to read at any point in my life as it would be a waste of my time. In my list of vampire movies, Twilight ranks way below as its a terrible excuse for anything relating to the “vampire realm”. So when Breaking Dawn 2 came out, i decided to go see it because i was told it was awesome so hence i present, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2

Directed by Bill Condon, writing credits by Melissa Rosenberg (screenplay) & Stephenie Meyer (author of Breaking Dawn) with a cast of Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, Peter Facinelli as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Cullen, Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale, Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee, Maggie Grace as Irina, and Michael Sheen as Aro.

Breaking Dawn 2 picks up from where part 1 ended, with the birth of Renesmee & Bella becoming a vampire, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.

I went to watch this movie as Flight is yet to premiere here, and i must say personally i found the movie okay. 1 hour into the movie and i was still waiting to see what was wow about this movie and the last 20 minutes of the movie could be said to be this movie and franchise’s redeeming light as the director introduces a nice twist because normally Twilight should not be called a vampire movie (vampires shining like diamonds in sunlight, Really???). All in all its an okay and am glad the franchise is over. Next please!!!!

Rating: 6/10

Cinema Worthiness: If you got an open mind go see it else wait till its available in DVD.

  1. I agree… for twilight saga, i think breaking dawn part 2 is the best. This movie, the first time i see Bella more “life” in there. Of course war scene is the best. War without blood. I love the ending of this story, when everything just in Voltury mind. I thing this is the best movie from twilight saga.
