[News] 2015 Oscar Nominees

The 2015 Oscar nominations were released yesterday and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences selected a predictable, uncontroversial lot of films to represent the year in movies. Critical and public favorites like Birdman, Boyhood, and The Grand Budapest all garnered their fair share of nominations.

Shocking no one, the Academy took the bait of films like The Theory of Everything and The Imitation Game, which each earned ample recognition.

    1. They are okay. Am happy Eddie Redmayne won his award as Best Actor because I was impressed with his performance in The Theory of Everything. Also happy The Imitation Game, American Sniper won awards. Big Hero 6 deserves its award as Best Animated Feature Film.

      What about you? What did you think about them?

      1. If you read my review on Nightcrawler, you’ll understand that’s one film i’m not happy was well represented. I think Eastwood should have got best director.
